ABOUT SHAN RAHIMKHAN

Shan Rahimkhan is a hairdresser and entrepreneur in Berlin. His salon is on the third floor of KaDeWe at Tauentzienstraße 21–24, where he and his team offer haircuts, colour and styling. The salon began operating in late November 2022.

In 2005, he opened his concept store at Gendarmenmarkt, combining a hair salon, home accessories and a café. The SHAN RAHIMKHAN TRUE haircare line followed in 2010, and the SHAN’S TRUE BEAUTY salon on Kurfürstendamm opened in 2012. These former locations are part of the brand’s history; the current salon is at KaDeWe.

His professional work is also documented in the media: VOGUE featured his advice on textured fringes in 2016. In a 2024 digital kompakt interview, he discussed personal experiences, business decisions and building a brand.

Blonde expertise and a qualified salon team

At KaDeWe, Shan Rahimkhan leads a team of 20 top stylists. All are qualified Diplom-Coloristen and hold Master of Color certification, with a particular focus on blonde hair and highlights. His partnership with Wella spans around 20 years.

Since October 2026, an extensive, exclusive extensions stock has complemented the salon’s services. Ten team members have completed specialist certified training. Hair extensions and added volume are therefore possible at the first scheduled appointment without an additional separate consultation appointment. The linked service information is in German.

Film, fashion, music and culture

His work continues to include collaborations in film, fashion, music and culture, with international stars, actors and musicians, and in opera and ballet. Deutsche Oper Berlin names Shan Rahimkhan Berlin and MAC Cosmetics as cooperation partners for its Glam Night following La bohème on 11 December 2026.
